2025 Women in Wine Celebration; A Toast to Excellence

Urban Connoisseurs Founder, Marcia Jones is back with Executive Chef and Osteria la Spiga co-owner, Sabrina Tinsley for the 6th Annual Women in Wine Celebration. We're bringing amazing women in wine to Seattle to share their wines. This is an opportunity for community to celebrate and support diversity in the wine industry, get to meet these amazing women, and taste artistic food creations.

The Women in Wine Celebration was created as a way for the connoisseur to experience diversity in the wine industry while also enjoying great wines and cuisine paired with these wines. Urban Connoisseurs, LLC started this event in Florida, and moved it to Seattle post pandemic. We're in our sixth year, and growing. Past years, guests enjoyed a 4 course dinner from the featured women winemakers. VIP guests had the opportunity to taste additional wines.

This year, we're celebrating A Toast to Excellence. We're spreading the love of wine by creating a larger TASTING EXPERIENCE. We taking over the entire main level of Osteria la Spiga.

EVERY TICKET INCLUDES A COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE OF WINE FROM FEATURED WINEMAKERS.

TASTE EXPERIENCE IS FROM 3:00 - 6:00 PM. TICKET PRICE: $155 (EARLY BIRD $95)

Guests will enjoy the opportunity to visit multiple wine stations and taste up to 3 different wines from each winemaker. Enjoy a robust charcuterie creation by chefs from the Future of Diversity program.

VIP Dinner* guests will enjoy a 4 to 5 course dinner created by Executive Chef Sabrina Tinsley. Each cuisine course is paired with a wine from the featured winemakers. We're serving FAMILY STYLE as we get to know one another through food and wine. Take what you want, but be sure you don't waste. Our FAMILY STYLE includes the wines! Every table will host a winemaker.

There are a LIMITED number of seats available.

Proceeds benefit the BLACK WINEMAKERS SCHOLARSHIP FUND. The Black Winemakers Scholarship Fund awards 2-3 students with scholarships ranging from $5,000 - $10,000 annually. Awards are given to students studying viticulture, enology, and like sciences (agriculture, plant pathology, etc.). These awards are one step closer to helping the next generation of Black Winemakers. Your support is greatly appreciated!
